Career Journey: From Strategist to Vice President
The steps I’ve taken in my career have shaped the professional I am today. I didn’t just climb the ladder — I built a foundation of knowledge, leadership, and a passion for dental practices.
SEO Strategist and Link Specialist
In 2014, I worked as an SEO (search engine optimization) strategist and link specialist at Webspand SEO Agency in Phoenix, Arizona. For five years, I tailored linking strategies and conducted thorough website evaluations, including domain metrics, backlink profiles, and Web 2.0 properties.
I collaborated with the in-house fulfillment team, maintained and cultivated relationships with vendors and publishers, managed budgets, and even played a key role in interviewing and training new hires. Ultimately, I upheld high standards for metrics and content quality and consistently met contract and product-level expectations.
PPC Manager
From 2019 to 2021, I was a freelance PPC (pay-per-click) manager in PowerTraffick PPC Management in Chandler, crafting and executing advertising strategies aligned with overarching business goals. I mastered detailed keyword research, specialized in writing ad copy, and participated in bid management.
I was responsible for creating, launching, and overseeing PPC campaigns across various platforms, with budget management as another critical part of my duties. Through creativity, analysis, and strategic planning, I delivered measurable results for clients and the organization.
Office, Market Specialty, Executive, and District Manager
I also worked for Smile Brands Inc., a company renowned as one of the nation’s best workplaces for dentists. It was here that I first crossed paths with dental practices as I took on the role of Office Manager from 2017 to 2019. Later on, I advanced to the position of Market Specialty Manager.
Within less than a year, I became an Executive Office Manager, a fulfilling role I held for two years. After concluding my work as a freelance PPC manager, I prioritized being Smile Brands Inc.’s District Manager in Arizona, overseeing operations and contributing to the company’s success.
Senior Vice President
While I was Smile Brands Inc.’s Office Manager, I found a clear direction in dental marketing and operations management. As such, I established 2740 Dental in 2019, where I took on the part of Senior Vice President. I continue to work here today, drawing upon all the valuable lessons I obtained from my time at Webspand SEO Agency, PowerTraffick PPC Management, and Smile Brands Inc.
As the visionary founder of 2740 Consulting, I take pride in our premier dental marketing and back-office operations management firm. About Maria Pia Giannini
Maria Pia Giannini’s passion for dentistry is evident. She has over three decades of experience in the dental field. Starting as an office manager allowed her to utilize and grow her management skills early on, enabling her to manage multiple dental offices.
She is well-regarded in the dental management field for her in-depth knowledge of assisting Owners and Dentists to achieve success in their dental practices.
She loves bringing challenging projects to fruition; it reinforces her conviction that anything is possible.
By combining her excellent communication skills and superb strategizing abilities, she can coach and train any office on how to present cases for greater case acceptance effectively. To top it off, she can teach intelligent scheduling as well as how to achieve a healthy accounts receivable with updated insurance coding.
Maria Pia has experience with many dental software programs, such as Eaglesoft, Softdent, Dentrix, and Dentrix Enterprise software.
Here are some of her expertise:
- Solutions – Setting up standard operations procedures and protocols.
- Dental software set-up and training.
- Insurance coding for maximum reimbursement cost containment. Maximizing CDT codes – Negotiating PPO fee schedules for greater reimbursement, including fee schedule analysis.
Maria Pia is a member of the American Academy of Dental Managers and Management (AADOM) and the Healthcare Leaders Association of Northeast Florida (HLA).
When she has free time Maria Pia enjoys traveling with her family & friends.
She has contributed to the community by volunteering for organizations such as the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and Make-A-Wish Foundation (wish granter).
About Rilee M
As an experienced OSHA Coordinator, I have dedicated my career to fostering workplace safety and compliance within the dental industry. In my role, I am responsible for conducting safety audits, developing training programs, and ensuring that all safety protocols are strictly adhered to.
My passion for creating a safe work environment extends beyond compliance; I strive to cultivate a culture of safety where employees feel empowered to speak up about hazards. I collaborate closely with management and staff to identify potential risks and implement effective solutions. My proactive approach has resulted in significant reductions in workplace incidents and an improvement in overall employee morale.
In addition to my technical expertise, I possess strong communication and organizational skills, which help me effectively convey safety policies and procedures. I am committed to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest industry trends and regulations.
Through my work, I aim to make a meaningful impact on both individual lives and the overall success of the organizations I support. My goal is to ensure that every employee returns home safely at the end of each workday.
I also moonlight as an award-winning social media manager and run our Meta ads management for many of our dental clients seeking new patients.
